Opening times
Opening Hours
Typical hours, when the queues actually build, and how holidays change things. More usefully: when to turn up if you would rather not stand in a lunch queue.
General pattern
Typical Weekly Hours
| Day | Opens | Closes | What to expect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday – Thursday | 11:00 AM | 10:00 PM | Quietest window of the week |
| Friday | 11:00 AM | 11:00 PM | Busy from about 5:30 PM |
| Saturday | 11:00 AM | 11:00 PM | Busiest day; long evening waits |
| Sunday | 11:00 AM | 9:00 PM | Early close is common |
These are the common pattern across the chain, not a guarantee for your restaurant. Individual locations set their own hours and change them seasonally — always confirm with the specific restaurant before making a trip.
Timing
When It Is Busy — and When It Is Not
Subs are made to order one at a time, so the queue in front of you is the whole wait. Arrival timing is the single biggest factor in how long you stand there.
Weekdays, 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM
The genuine peak. Office lunch orders and walk-ins arrive together, and because every sub is built to order the queue moves at the speed of the slicer. Ordering ahead saves more here than at any other hour.
Weekdays, 5:00 – 6:30 PM
The commute-home rush. Shorter than lunch but heavier on hot subs, which take longer per order than cold ones.
Saturday, 12:00 – 2:00 PM
Weekend lunch. Busy but more forgiving than a weekday, since fewer people are working to a fixed break.
Weekdays, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Effectively dead time. Best odds of walking straight in, and the counter is not under pressure — which is also when a complicated order is least likely to go wrong.
Holidays
Holiday Hours
Holiday hours change late. Restaurants frequently confirm holiday schedules only a week or two ahead, and individual locations diverge from the chain pattern. Treat the table above as a general expectation and phone your restaurant to confirm — especially for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Easter, where practice varies most.
